Reasons to celebrate & J2 vid

I'm a happy girl.

1. My show is back! And it's not just soaking up the goodness that is Supernatural it's everything that goes with it. Shiny new icons, meta, picspams, comments, fic and the general excitement around the place.

2. dotfic posted this wonderful tag to M7 Assumptions It was perfect and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

3. It's the school holidays and even though a lot of parents don't celebrate that as I'm a teacher I'm on holiday too! Yay!

4. And I made this vid for and with my gorgeous 10 year old daughter. This is possibly the most fun I've had making a vid. Having her over my shoulder saying "that's cool" and "no, that clip should go there" was so much fun. (maybe I'm creating a monster!) And instead of "when are you going to get off the computer" it was " have you finished my vid yet?" (ok, yes, it was bribery so I could do some vidding in the holidays *g*).

I had to use the gag reel, not only because she loves it but I don't let her watch SPN (yet).

It's nothing special but it does bring a smile to my face.

(The file is big because for some reason ffmegX was splitting the sound and vision and I couldn't figure out how to stop that. So I went back to my old conversion method).

yep,that's the scary thing! When she said "you should put the bit where he hits his tummy on that part of the song" I knew I was in trouble.

I'm going to see what I can do about another upload but I don't think I've got my original copy any more - well, I do but it's on a back up drive and I've had all sorts of trouble retrieving files from it lately. But I'll see what I can do and let you know!

Now this one did upset me when they took the sound off. It was one of those vids that made me happy!

Damn. I don't think I even have this one on my computer. Apparently you can take vids off of YT. I might try that.

I usually do, that's why I didn't ask to you for more vids that weren't available for downloading, I took them directly from YT. problem is that, if there's no sound, you'll download it with no sound. *glares at YT*

Oh. Do you mean you actually downloaded it from YT?? 'cause I was just looking into how to do that. I always thought it was complicated. If that's what you did can you tell me how to do that? There's a couple of vids I could get off of there for my own safe keeping.
