Wandering in after a night out...

So yay! Perth meet up happened and it was great. The venue was fab - we had our own private cinema. \o/ We watched the boys on the big (very big!) screen. AND watched some fanvids... I have to say, seeing your own work (and work of others) on a big screen was kinda special. :)

We watched the pilot and we all laughed out loud as soon as Jared spoke. Honestly, both boys voices were at least an octave higher when S1 started. So wonderful to watch the boys being, well...boys. Snarky!Dean, bitchface!Sam... "bitch", "jerk", "no chick flick moments", "driver picks the music"... it's all there. <333

We then watched "Mystery Spot". What an awesome episode. So heart breaky, but funny too. Then we watched "The End" and "Changing Channels". "The End" still floors me. Incredible episode. And even more distressing knowing what actually does happen in the end. *sniff* We weren't allowed to show eps that hadn't aired in Aus, so couldn't watch any later ones from season 5. Which is probably a good thing because I may just have cried. A bit.

My back is feeling heaps better. I think a night out was just what the doctor ordered. :D

I'm still trying to get my bidder to give me enough feedback to get started. I may have to just take the bull by the horns and just get started on something.

Now that the Summer Institue is starting next week my workload will drop off drastically and maybe I can get back to the things I enjoy.

Oh you haven't heard yet? That'd make it difficult. I've got a lovely detailed brief... I just hope *fingers crossed* I can pull it off. It's somewhat out of my depth. So exciting in that respect, but yeah.... totally not sure...

And yay! for getting back to things we enjoy! :D (I have a HEAP of reports to do... yuk!).

I've heard from them once but it was mostly incoherent stuff about not liking this and that. But no real direction. I'm going to have to do a Sander on them to point them in the direction I want them to go.
