I don't even know why I'm posting this, I really need to toughen up because I am clearly a princess. (and I really do, cause this is soooo trivial). For the first time I've received a rather bitchy comment on one of my vids. And really I suppose I'm lucky, considering how many I've posted on YT, that this is the first one. Still, for someone to have a go at not just me but the people who liked it is pretty low I reckon. I'm not sure if it's being referred to as "some chick" or that I "have issues" that irks me more.

Though actually it makes me smile because anyone who "catalogues Dean's pain" clearly does have issues. She needs to see the one where I catalog all the times the boys get physically hurt! *g* Or when I catalog how much Dean eats! Or Sam's pain. Hmm... actually... maybe she has a point. I think I DO have issues. \o/

I knew I'd feel better once I ranted. :D Sorry about that. Merrily moving on...

So, I signed up for summer_sam_love and I chose one of my fav Sam episodes "When the Levee Breaks" to make a vid to. And I've been trying to find a song. The best I've come up with is "Meds" by Placebo and as much I think that could work well (especially as I'm thinking of emphasising Sam's living hell), I'm wondering if there might be something better? If you've ever heard a song that shouts out that episode to you I'd be keen to know it. I'm sure there are heaps of songs out there that would match that episode. :)

Also, I'm going to do a wee flist tidy. Nothing that should really effect you all. Just time to stream line. (ooh, that sounds so clinical. It's not. I don't like flist tidying. Probably why I hardly ever do it).

I haven't seen the post but if he called you some chick and took issue with other people liking it, than that says more about him than it ever will about your work.

Like really. Who doesn't have issues?! *lol* I was watching this comedian and she was all, "Everyone is fucked up. It's the people who don't think they are fucked up that are really fucked up!" *LOL*

I wish I could remember which ep that is. I'd be all with the song recommends. Funny thing is when I put that title into Google...turns out it's a blues song written and recorded in 1929 as a reaction to a flood. So I'm pretty sure it would never work for you but there are about a dozen covers. Most notably by Led Zeppelin and A Perfect Circle. I'm pretty sure I have the Perfect Circle cover if you want it.

The context though reminded me that Linkin Park did a song about the New Orleans flood called "The Little Things Give You Away". Not sure if it'll work but it's a beautiful song.

So yeah, what's that ep about? *g* As for the commenter....I'll set Dean on him. ;P He's gotta have someone catalog his pain. Just look at all that beautiful angst! How could you not?!

Yeah - you know I really shouldn't have taken any notice. The person sounded pretty stupid, but you know me. Damn princess about these things. Hee! The "issues" thing really did make me smirk. I've never questioned that I do have issues... I have one big issue called VIDDING!! *G*

When the Levee Breaks is the one where Sam is locked in the panic room. He then hallucinates and it gives the audience a chance to see the inner struggle he is having. Castiel then frees him and he returns to Ruby and it ends with that awful moment when he strangles Dean and walks away from him. It's so intense and wonderful. It's so viddable too - the way it's shot is a dream.

So...yes. A suitable song. I'm thinking something equally intense - or at least with lyrics that match his thoughts. I'll check out the actual song the ep title is from - I didn't think of that.

I've been given quite a selection, so I'm going to see if I can get them all and take a listen.

(ooh and I'm half way through my next vid but I've hit a stumbling block. Might send it over. Though I did promise myself I wouldn't do that until I have the whole vid completed..*facepalm*)
