I don't even know why I'm posting this, I really need to toughen up because I am clearly a princess. (and I really do, cause this is soooo trivial). For the first time I've received a rather bitchy comment on one of my vids. And really I suppose I'm lucky, considering how many I've posted on YT, that this is the first one. Still, for someone to have a go at not just me but the people who liked it is pretty low I reckon. I'm not sure if it's being referred to as "some chick" or that I "have issues" that irks me more.

Though actually it makes me smile because anyone who "catalogues Dean's pain" clearly does have issues. She needs to see the one where I catalog all the times the boys get physically hurt! *g* Or when I catalog how much Dean eats! Or Sam's pain. Hmm... actually... maybe she has a point. I think I DO have issues. \o/

I knew I'd feel better once I ranted. :D Sorry about that. Merrily moving on...

So, I signed up for summer_sam_love and I chose one of my fav Sam episodes "When the Levee Breaks" to make a vid to. And I've been trying to find a song. The best I've come up with is "Meds" by Placebo and as much I think that could work well (especially as I'm thinking of emphasising Sam's living hell), I'm wondering if there might be something better? If you've ever heard a song that shouts out that episode to you I'd be keen to know it. I'm sure there are heaps of songs out there that would match that episode. :)

Also, I'm going to do a wee flist tidy. Nothing that should really effect you all. Just time to stream line. (ooh, that sounds so clinical. It's not. I don't like flist tidying. Probably why I hardly ever do it).

Honestly, I'm always impressed when the comments on YouTube are intelligible. There's nothing like looking through YouTube comments to feel depressed about the intelligence level of the English speaking world (can't comment as well on the rest of it). Sorry, though. I've never seen one of your vids deserve less than praise or thoughtful commentary.

Re: songs, I saw your previous request but figured I've done my share of 2 cents offerings ;) However, given that you're still looking, have you considered using Aerosmith's "Dream On"?

Hee! Yes. I've seen some pretty woeful stuff and I have no idea why I took notice of this. I think because it was for Hurt it made me a bit ...um...upset. Now if it had been for "Take Me to the Hospital" - I would totally get their point! :)

And I like your offerings. In fact I started vidding that other song you mentioned, but I've been distracted with other vid projects. ;) Also, the idea I had for it didn't pan out like I hoped it would. (though it's still on the back burner - I'd like to have time to make a "yay! Season 6 is on it's way" vid and that song would be great. :) )

And I'll add Dream On to my listening mix. Thank you! :D

I'm not sure what direction you wanted to take with the vid (as you mentioned with the other one, that can make a difference) but the lyrics seem very fitting, the tone is good, and it has a lot of instrumentals that could be edited down for a short vid if you're trying to contain things to a single episode.

Sounds good. Initially I was thinking that it would mostly be about Sam, but Dean has some pretty important moments in there too - so I haven't decided how I'm going to show both stories yet. The song will play a bit part in that I imagine.
