There are times when I am just plain lazy and would rather seek flist knowledge than surf the net ... (and 'cause I trust and luzs ya all).

Ok. So this Sherlock that everybody is wetting themselves over... what's happening? What the big \o/. Should I be tapping into this? I am assuming this is a new TV series....???

Also. I find myself crushing on Christian Kane. It's so weird that I used to read RPF where he is mentioned and had no idea who he was. (I even made a vid of one of his songs for heaven's sake!) So has he been in stuff before Leverage? Should I be hooking up to something else? (Though if it was something like Desperate Housewives or 90210 I really don't want to know I don't think). Yes, yes IMdB would have the answers I know. *iz lazy*

The last ep was awesome and I loved it even more that an SPN actress was in it! And a certain person sang.\o/

Hubby and I are watching X-Files again - from the beginning (see now why I want to know if there's a new show I should be tapping into?). Though I do love it. They got that one so right.

Um. Ok. That's it. Only. I love Sam. I do. (Can you tell I've started my Levee Breaks vid?! \o/) It still hurts me to think that Dean left him alone down there. That episode just hurts so much in every way -right down to Castiel's betrayal.... But Sam... :(((( Snuggles him tight.

Oooh ooh- I do also have to say that my darling beta and friend sharvie sent me some footage that she took of Comic Con and it was so cute! It's of the boys chilling with their respective wives and they were all so lovely dovey. Jared running her hand up and down Gen's back at one point. They looked great. So relaxed and healthy. (I always think they look a bit tired and worn out at cons. But not this one).

We've just started a S1 Leverage watch here in our house - up to episode 5 and WE LOVES IT :) So glad to find stuff to get us through hellatus. 30 Rock is also on agenda. Now that Christian Kane dude - he did have a fairly regular stint on Angel - he played a lawyer called Lindsey for Wolfram and Hart and him and David Boreanaz got up in each others faces on several occasions if I recall :) Cannot recall which of the five seasons though - I'm thinking earlier rather than later.

Oooh? Chillaxed boys? vid footage?? Pretty please???

Oh I've been loving Leverage I have to say.

So CK is in Angel. It's one I've not watched. Sounds like something I should hook into. :)

And re the vid footage, I might put some of the bits together. It's a bit blurry, but I'll see what I can do... Otherwise I could just send you the stuff that Sharvie sent me. :)

Sherlock is fantastic-I really loved it! I'm usually not a fan of when they take my favorite characters and modernize it, but this was so well-done.

I also have a huge crush on Christian Kane <3 I'm saving the episode where he sings for the long train ride I have tomorrow.

I didnt know if Sherlock would work for me, Im such a fan of the books and the Jeremy Brett adaptations, but I enjoyed it immensely. The leads were great, they had good chemistry, they stayed true to the book within the constraints of a modern version, and most importantly the dialogue was fab. I'll be back next Sunday to watch the next one. Its just a shame they have only made three. Give it a go, you'll be slashing them in no time:)

I haven't heard a bad thing about Sherlock yet. Even from those who thought they wouldn't like it. It sounds like a mini-series then if only 3. I wasn't sure if it was a new series.

CK is big in the BtVS/Ats fandom. His character had a huge arc through the Angel series. He was in I think 3 seasons, mostly 1, 2, and 5. He started off as a bad guy, then became a really bad guy, then become good, then got bad again, then good. It was pretty much epic.

If you want a quick look at Lyndsay, Lum did a great vid for his character called Struggle. Pretty much shows the major moments for his character. One thing you won't understand is that when he got his new hand, it was from a serial killer, so it was evil and possessed. Of course. But Angel fixed that, can't remember how though.

He was great at the cons I attended with him and his band played a great set even if I don't usually like that type of music. I actually met him twice. Once after his band played....he was soooo drunk. *lol* And then the next day he was back signing autographs and seriously hung over. But he looked gorgeous both times! Ahh, good times. :P

I figured CK was big somewhere and I remember you telling me about him when I was making Different Kind of Knight. But I never realised how damn cute he was!!

And thanks so much for the vid link. This will be great. Haven't looked at it yet but as it's hers I know I will love it.

And all road seem to lead back to Buffy (I think I really missed out not watching that). Does that mean Steve Carlson is linked to Buffy? I keep seeing his name pop up and again, no idea how he is connected to the Js. Or to Kane. He's always paired with him. (this is when I feel like such a newb to fandom).

I loved Sherlock... I'm a big SH fan (book canon version), and although this is modern, it really worked for me. Loved the way they made Watson's character believeable, and the way the dialogue worked between them. I'll be watching next Sunday for sure :-)

CK had a very small role in the movie Broken Hearts Club, starring Timothy Olyphant and Dean Caine way back a long time ago. I'm not sure if he even had any lines, but the first time I saw him in something else, all I could think was "Idaho Guy!"

About the boys at cons: I wonder if they look healthier at ComicCon because they've been on hiatus for a while, and are about ready to go back to filming, rather than being in the middle of a season or just coming off the end of one. I've never seen them at a con, though, so it's all just speculation.

I'm sure the hiatus helps heaps. Plus I usually see footage for cons outside of the US, so I wonder if the lack of jet lag makes a difference too. Plus they are clean shaven - Jensen with his scruff on always makes him look a bit weary I reckon. (Though always ridiculous hot - should be illegal!).

YAY!!!! Epic Sammy LOVE!!! *squeezes him* (I felt the need to proclaim my undying love because I read on friend's journal that she had someone say something nasty about him and it made me sad (and a bit cross). Sammy is just not understood by some....)
