Cure for the grumps..

So. I've been in a rotten mood all day - for some unexplained reason, (which I hate because I am usually such a happy, bouncy thing) and I've finally had my mood lifted by this ridiculous product.

I won't explain how (or why) I came across this... But. IS THIS REAL?? Really? Did people buy this? It amazes me that someone actually designed this thing. And then someone marketed it. (if you can call this marketing...). And then someone created a jingle for it. This product probably employed a lot of people. Sheesh. (Or am I just being a grumpy old young woman?!)

Also.  Why have I, after 3 years on LJ, only just discovered Rich text?  (By accident).  I've been in HTML mode forever.  It looks like rich text just... does it for you.   Does it?  Is every one in rich text mode?  Have I been coding all my italics and strikes etc. all this time and I could have just hit a button?? /o\  (though I haven't figured out how to cut text yet in this mode....)

Now I'm feeling old and stupid.  Uh oh.  Yuk mood is back. I better go and watch that ad again. :)

OMG! That ad! HAHAHAHAA! The first few seconds had me think of my washing mashine when it gets wild (it does that sometimes) and I sit on it so it wont jump around everywhere...hahaha... thanks so much for this entertaining stupidity. (I wonder if anybody threw up after sitting on that "chair"...)

Oh man. Rich text. That used to pop up first when I wanted to write a post. And I go and write all the html text and it doesn't work because rich text doesn't understand html...

Don't worry about finding out late about it. If you remember, I am the one who didn't know that you safe pics with right click, thinking I couldn't safe pics from the internet...lol.
Computers are about endless amounts of single details. It's so easy to miss one. ^_^

Well, I'm pretty sure I threw up after watching that ad! :D

So do you use rich text when posting? Having just discovered it I have no idea what it can do. I've been trying to use a mix of both.

Oh, you just replied...

When you switch forth and back (use both) then the html side becomes one big text. I find that confusing. Especially when you included pics or the like.

Rich text can do basicially all the symbols show you. I like it that you can change the size of the writing and the colour just with a click of a button. :)

Oh, and for cutting: it's the 4th symbol from right. You mark the text you want hidden and hit the cut button. Then a window opens, asking you to write the cut text. (You know, like: 'info under cut' or something like that.)

Too bad I hardly ever write a post. All this wasted knowledge...hahaha. *iz silly*

It's not wasted! I know lots more now... :)

I'm going to start playing with it.

Though I'm so used to html, it'll take some getting used to, But it does look a lot easier.
