So this officially hits the top of my list as the most fun I've had making a vid. This presented a number of new challenges which I relished.

This vid really does show my age! Though not all TV shows are as ancient as me, so there's (hopefully) something for everyone. I've been wanting to do this for a while (ever since "Supernatural 5-0" and "Supernatural Dukes") and I took my time over this (for a change).

Special thanks to the lovely deirdre_c for her encouraging words and to my wonderful beta _sharvie_ whose eye for detail never ceases to amaze me (and keep me on my toes!). These gals helped give it the spit and polish it needed.

This brought the hugest, cheesiest grin to my face (and also a little bit of fun sadness at the end, if that makes any sense). I think the clip that gave me the greatest glee (and this probably varies from person to person) was Mission Impossible. God I loved that show, and you pulled this off so beautifully. I really like how you captured not only the content but the sort of shot and style of the shows. Fantastic work!!! (Also Days of Our Lives. No, ER. Oh hell, ALL OF IT.) Thank you so much for your lovely comment. The Mission Impossible segment is a personal favourite, I think mainly because it presented the greatest challenge. Also, it gave me a chance to clip the boys in tuxes. Yum.

I know it's been said by everyone else, but this is just awesome. The Odd Couple was the perfect lead in, and when Starsky and Hutch came on, with Hendrickson as the Captain, I yelled so loud I woke my poor husband. Who them came in and laughed himself silly at Knightrider.

And Buffy, featuring John? That made me squee out loud. SO brilliantly edited.

Hee! Initially I had S&H, followed by The Odd Couple but my beta (and Dei) suggested I move them around - I'm glad I did. I just couldn't help myself, I just had to use Hendrickson as Captain Dolby and I suspect only fans of S&H would have picked that up. I was very unsure of what might be thought of me casting John as Buffy! So, I'm so glad you liked it.

This was such a fabulous vid! From the clever clever idea to the way it was executed, it was jsut perfect. I LOVE how you go the different "feel" of the shows too, not just from the music, but from the clips you chose too.

Oh yes, DOOL made me squee a little bit. It was almost an after thought (in that it wasn't on my original list of shows to do). I think I squeaked a bit when I thought of it, so I'm so glad you liked it. :D
