I don't often gush to this extent over a vid but I absolutely have to with this one. It spoke directly to me and I have an urge to share that. (I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek, but I had nothing, whatsoever, to do with it).

Awards, quotes and Juice

I am going to post them here because it's a nice record for me AND nice to look back on if I'm ever having a blue day. Which I did last night. Then I read a quotewendy posted in her journal that made things better again:
"We can do no great things. Only small things with great love."
I was reminded yesterday the difference a kind word, a show of interest, a compliment, even a smile can make to someone else's life. It's going to be my goal to do these things more regularly. (I was reminded because when you get the opposite of these it can make you feel rotten).
I also like the quoteredteekal posted in her journal. I think of it often when I start feeling down about getting older.

INDEED.
Now. Speaking of voting and doing nice things, as you probably know (because I have raved about her before here)juice817 is one of my absolute favourite podficcers. Rarely a day goes by that she isn't whispering in my ear.
She's entered an audio book competition and needs as many votes as possible to become a finalist. When I last looked she was only about 19 votes from the top 20. You can vote once a day. You do have to register but it takes only a minute to do so. GO VOTE! It would be awesome to see her win this.
Oh and...YAY! SHOW IS ON SOON \o/ \o/... I am BUSTING to see this one. Catch ya on the flip side. *smish*

Feb. 1st, 2010 09:14 pmA blanket THANK YOU to those who responded to my previous post of fav SamnDean moments. So wonderful (and a bit heart breaky) reading all those. Many of them are on my list too - though there were some I hadn't remembered, but are definitely favs. I make a point of responding to all comments left on my journal, but I won't have the opportunity this time...suffice it to say you'll be seeing what they are for (hopefully!) soon.... but thank you.. they've been an enormous help...

6. Well, my lovely long break is coming to an end. I know I've spent far to much time and money drinking and eating in local cafes, but hey. It was the holidays. And they were fab. But I am not unhappy to be going back to work. I love my job and I'm looking forward to seeing the kids again.

Supernatural Video Station recently had their annual awards and I picked up these .....
Channel Hopping
His Wings II That was for "For outstanding clip usage that really showed wonderful emotion that really complements the song."
popcornleader and antigonesgirft run a wonderful site for Supernatural vidders. Oh and it's not all vid talk. (though there is lots of that too) There are all sorts of discussion topics on the various forums over there, so check it out if you have a chance. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly.
I also got this which was a lovely surprise.

School started back yesterday. I have a lovely group of Year 5's and there's only 17 in the class! That's like a teacher's dream. Let's hope it stays that way. :D
