It seems I have a little something else for this challenge...

A little story of my rather embarrassing (but totally innocent) first encounter with Wincest.

The first person I friended on LJ was ignipes. I remember discovering this thing called wincest and being a little shocked. Yes shocked I tells ya! So I sent ignipes a PM asking why people are so disrespectful of these characters. I couldn't understand how anyone could have these brothers actually, well, having sex..

She didn't answer me (I'm not surprised as I probably sounded like a troll). I eventually decided to give one story a go to see what it was all about. It was one of her stories (and I thought I had a link but I don't unfortunately) and it had Sam and Dean standing under a street light and it exploding when they kissed. It was a gentle introduction to wincest. I remember it clearly because I loved it and it opened my eyes to how this could actually work. How writers could be respectful AND create beautiful, powerful stories that are inspired by canon.

So there you are. I still feel rather embarrassed by that PM, but I was a wee innocent thing back then. ;)
