Notes:

I heard this song as an intro for a podfic recording and it kept haunting me. It spoke to me of the fallout from supernatural encounters, not just for Sam and Dean but for the many others that cross their paths.

This song was written by James Blunt about the Kosovo War. I don't mean to trivialise the suffering of the people he sung about by making a fanvid to the song - I just felt it suited the people who inhabit the Supernatural universe.

Beautiful and heartbreaking. Not to make it all about the Winchesters, but I imagine they are well-aware of the the fallout from supernatural events, and the effect it can have, since that's what their whole lives have been about. And that, the grief and sadness these people they come into contact with, the people they "save," must weigh heavily on them and multiply their own grief, and sense of guilt and responsibility.

Beautiful editing and use of color and lyrics and it made me cry.

Thank you so much. :). It's very sad to think about all the tragedy the boys must witness. They have to contend with not only their own tragedies but all those they come across. It's something I hoped would come out of the vid.
