Just how spoilery is that teaser that I'm seeing all around the place? I really.. REALLY want to peek.. A little tiny peek won't hurt will it?!


While I'm here.... I just HAVE TO rec some vids that zimshan recced to me recently. It was in relation to the bad vid post I made a few weeks ago. Though this isn't a "bad vid" by any means... It's the crackiest, most amazing vid I think I've ever seen.

If you haven't seen it I URGE you to check it out. It's brilliantly made and... my God.. the idea. (It's Smallville, but you don't need to know the show at all). Honestly. Go watch! You won't be disappointed. (it's slash but try not to let that put you off either (if you're not into slash) ... it's friggin' hilarious. And kinda O_o)

I also highly recommend this "bad vid" (of the Lord King Bad Vid variety). It's a Merlin vid but, again, you don't need to know the show to watch it. Again slash, but crackish so pretty harmless.

This is a perfect example of a LKBV. As in it's done in complete sincerity, it's well made but the idea is "horrific". And in being so quite hilarious.

'I Swear' is the reason I'm kinda sorry I roled over my registration for VVC this year, I hear it had the hole room in stiches, either giving standing ovations or rolling around the floor with hysterical laughter. I must have been a thing of beauty, because it starts out quite reasonable, but the crack just keeps piling on, and by the the kitten everybody was laughing uncontrollably.

Putting those two next to each other is interesting, though. It looks like a good 'bad vid' needs a unicorn!!!

I watched it not knowing what was going to happen. Even though zimshan recced it to me as "Catbaby" I didn't twig. So when it happened I just could not believe my eyes. Then I looked at the whole structure of the vid and realised just how damn good it was.

I imagine seeing it live would have been incredible. What a great to reaction to get on a vid also. It must have been very rewarding for the vidders (I wasn't sure if this was a collab?).

And yes! Unicorns! Damn me if I wouldn't love to make a SPN vid with a unicorn in it. :D :D

OMG, yes, *flail* - you totally have to do an SPN of the LKBV with an unicorn....AND DRAGONS, OMG OMG....I can all see it already....*flail some more* - it would be a thing of kooky beauty!

Didn't Ben Edlund talk about how he scripted unicorns into the fairy episode but the budget couldn't cut it? It almost could have been canon!
