Notes

This is a first for me. A promo vid for a fic. I have to say I was thrilled when geckoholic expressed an interest in Se7en. We came together and said, "yep, let's do this." Hee... and we did.

Making this has been awesome fun. Not only working the fab geckoholic and seeing this wonderful fic come together but also (finally!) having a good reason for using effects.

Go and read the fic! It's wonderful. You don't need to know the film Se7en to follow it. It stands alone. But if you DO know the film you'll love seeing how Gecko has managed to weave it into the story.

Thank you. I'm glad you thought it worked well with the fic. The story was the main reason for the clips choices so I had hoped they worked.

Thank you for the concrit. It's very rare to get it (in comments...*g* my betas give it to me all the time) so it's great to hear.

I hear what you're saying also. The main reason I don't usually do effects in my vids is trying to tread that fine line of too much - or not enough. For this I wanted to experiment with the echoes in the images, but didn't want it to distract from the image to much. I will say that I was concerned about it being a bit "try hard" - in terms of the effect looking too calculated. Looks like I could have smoothed that out a bit more.
