I also think 5.13 (The Song Remains the Same) and 5.18 (Point of No Return) also use this floor plan but I can't get a good enough cap of it.

I just love that they turn the plan around to mix it up a bit. I scanned through S1-3 and couldn't find this plan used there. They used it 5 times in S4. It appears again in S5, S6 and S7. The hotel layout on 7.05 us slightly different but it looks like they've simply made a couple of trims to the original. :)

It's TOTALLY geeky and a completely useless find but it makes me smile. I love the idea that the set designers had a standard floorplan and just changed the name on the graphic.

It's just because I'm capping and looking closely at every little detail (I'm also looking for example of items being reused - like bedspreads etc). I spotted one and then when I saw the next one I got curious. When I noticed they had just flipped the plan around it made me a little bouncy. (/o\) When I cap S5-7 I'll be keeping my eye out.

It would be awesome fun making up the names and designing the room. Sometimes there's a link between the name and what's going on in the episode. I'm also keeping an eye out for that stuff.

Clearly too much time on my hands (which is actually not true. I have a heap of other things I should be doing.

Sometimes the motel names are related to the location and sometimes the decoration inside is related in some way also. There was one in Indiana that had basketballs and car wheels on the divider and that state is known for basketball and the Indianapolis 500, a major car race. I love how over the top some of them can be like the one with the fish on the divider and the one decked out with the stripper motif.

*nods* I'm sure there will be stuff like that I will miss not being from the US. Which...um... leads me to ask...

Would you be interested in doing a check over when the s4 picspam is done? For general typos etc but mostly to see if I've missed some stuff like that? It'll be a while yet. I'm alternating between compiling the motel data and making caps. :)

I know I'll need another set of eyes.
