I don't know why this still shocks me but it does.

This person (LezraGR) has not only posted a couple of my vids but has also put their own watermark on it. They have also blocked me (and probably others) from commenting so I can't even protest it. What the...? There's a heap of other vids there, which I'm sure are stolen also.

My two (I Go to Work and When You're Smiling) were posted over a year ago but there are some recent SPN ones that I'd place bets aren't his (edit...looks like the poster is a teenage boy (?)).

*head shake* It puzzles me what these people get out of doing this. I guess when you make something public like that anyone can grab it. But it's the same as stealing someone's story.

Anyway. Not much can be done I suppose, especially if he's blocked comments. What a loser.

ETA: ARGHHH!! I just found this also. My Woo Hoo vid The thing is... he has a facebook link. I don't have Facebook. But if anyone is able to contact him there it might be worth telling him stealing is not on.

Blasted little cheat! Even watermarking it!

Yeah, it's blocked comments on some of the vids, so it knows what it's doing is wrong and not a mistake, but I managed to get one through on the Whoo Hoo one, I expect it will remove those comments soon too. Sorry, hon, don't have Facebook, although the bloody cheek of it using your work to get people to visit it's Facebook page is almost enough for me to open one and rip it a new one. **ugh** There is nocliptheft - not sure if they're still active. On YouTube there used to be the Wall of Shame channel that would help people get stolen vids taken down, always worth a try.

Oh and I just wanted to add - apart from the comment I also "disliked" the vid on it's channel - now I LOVE your vid, it's not about the vid, I mainly wanted to leave a red mark for when it takes down the "upsetting" comments it's getting...

I just can't get over the watermark! It's so rude. (I really need to start watermarking my vids I think...)

Oh yes... I saw that Wall of Shame channel once. I'll see if I can find it.

I also tried to "dislike" it. I think it allowed me to do that. Just not comment. Purposefully being blocked makes it obvious that they know what they are doing is wrong.

I went through a phase of adding a little "E" to the corner of my vids, haven't done it lately as honestly I don't think any of mine are in danger of anything like this! However, I know watermarks annoy some viewers, so tried to keep it as small and inconspicuous as possible, but if you do that then idiots like this will still just cover it up with a huge one of their own.

Seems to me like the "Thief Wall of Shame" channel is no more - sorry about that, hope the constant messages will get it to take them down - there's really nothing else you can do.

Yeah.. I'm in two minds about the watermark. A small one I usually don't mind. I'd prefer a completely clean vid but I can understand why people have them.

The messages have been amazing. If nothing else I think he'll get annoyed! (I've since found out he's a 17 yo boy from Greece).

I'm thinking you might want to drop a word of warning to supernaturalvid so other vidders can know that this thing is around claiming work? Hah, it may be a little Greek boy with childish manners, but that doesn't excuse it, for not only slapping it's own watermark on your vid, but going the extra distance and editing OFF your credits! How creative of it. Cretin.

And yeah...I watched to the end and the music was faded out and the credit cut off, so there's no denying he knows what he's doing...
