Does any one know how many episodes Misha is signed up for this season? I heard 3, but wanted to confirm. And as much as I avoid spoilers AT ALL COSTS if anyone knows which episodes he's in I'm all ears. I feel I might need to prepare myself.

As in... if he's in the finale then I might need to steel myself for a quick fix to the Leviathan problem... :/

I re-watched the ep and just..... oh sam. After looking at this wall paper it makes me think just how much this man has suffered. He's not just tired because of lack of sleep, but from just...EVERYTHING! And not just Sam....Both of them!! Dean said "he's tired" in Croatoan... imagine how he feels now.

And it's OUR FAULT! US FANS! We love the show so much they keep having to find ways to make them suffer! I don't know whether to jump for joy or feel guilty...

3-4 eps was the last I heard and I did read somewhere that he was talking to Sera about how happy he'd be if Cas was still in the mix if when Season 8 gets the green light.

It would be easier if we knew the series would get renewed. I wouldn't mind the Leviathans getting carried over for another year. I like how over-confident and corporate they seem to be. Plus, they can plan and scheme, unlike a lot of other monsters. They are motivated by hunger rather than by evil or mayhem like the demons which to me makes them a threat of a whole new level of scary. Plus they could be anywhere. And for that matter, what happened to Frank? So many questions....

I think the Leviathan threat could be easily carried through to next year. They don't seem to be in a hurry for world domination (greedy (well, hungry..) for it, but they seem to want to get it right...). Though I imagine they might want to wrap it up and introduce a new Big Bad if they get renewed. (I hope they don't. I'd love to see them get really creative with them....)

I know! Frank! They left that completely alone. Maybe take our minds off him? I find it hard to believe he's dead already. we might get surprise!Frank later on.

And hey, don't feel guilty. Without us fans they might not be suffering but they wouldn't even be alive on screen anymore. But then again, maybe do feel guilty but don't forget to jump for joy in the meantime. :D

I am no more spoiled than I was before asking that question. I knew they had signed him up for a few eps...I just wasn't sure how many.

Ha! Yes... the boys wouldn't exist as long as they have done without us. So many it's better to be suffering then being....gone...

I hope they can find a way to be invigorate themselves if we get an 8th season. Maybe they could take a holiday or something... (perhaps to Australia..) :)

Oh, an Australia holiday for Sam and Dean! And of course they would shoot that ep around the corner from where you live! I cand just imagine you undecided over either just fainting, twirling stumped strangers to cope with the excitement or just getting that close to the shoot that you run in front of the rolling cameras to hug Jard! LOL. You'd never come back down again and we'd get to see the pics of it. yay. \o/

I assumed it was three - but then again i read those spoilers quite a while ago so if the number has changed i don't know.

Yeah, that's my biggest concern as well that if Castiel is in the final 3 or however episdoes then he will be able to kill all the leviathans because he is an angel and he is powerful. I won't be happy but it wouldn't surprise me.

I know, just Sam in that episode was amazing and heartbreaking.

I'm really hope we get something a little more creative than Cas being able to smite them all. They are such interesting baddies...it would be a shame to see them go easily.

No one could give me a firm number on eps. It seems like 3 or 4.

I have no idea about number of eps for Cas. However, I rewatched Croatoan last night and had a similar thought when Dean mentioned being tired, since I think of Season 1-2 as SPN Lite at this point, even though they're very dark compared to some other shows.

I think that narrative need to keep putting the boys through things is why at one point in Season 5 I was hoping the show would end after that season. It just didn't seem like the show could find something else even semi-believable for them to fight after dealing with the frigging Apocalypse, and didn't they deserve a break? However, now I'm glad the show continued, since we've had some wonderful bits in S6-7, but yes, I think Sam and Dean must be superhuman to still be keeping on after everything.

At least we do get to see some damage on SPN. One of my favorite SG-1 writers wrote some great stuff by dealing with the damage that the show rarely ever carried over from ep to ep, never mind season to season.

Hee! SPN Lite...yes. I look back fondly and smile at their much higher voices and relatively easy lives. :)

I think the fact that the show DOES examine the damage their lives has on them, makes it so much more believable. I mean..no, I can't for a minute imagine a normal human surviving what they have. But somehow, because we see their coping mechanisms, it makes it more tangible. It really stuck me after that last episode how much these guys have gone through. And will, no doubt, keep going through. (hee.. and not just in the show. There's all that fan fic also!)

I know! I ALMOST watched a preview today. I even clicked on the link...but didn't end up watching it. I got the title though. Not that it was very enlightening.

The 3 is what I heard when I was first spoiled also. Though 4 has been suggested above. (I hope it's 3. Only because I want the end to mostly be about Sam and Dean and them having to fight completely by themselves...)
