I just saw a blog (or 50) on Tumblr stating SPN has been officially renewed. I can't find a source to confirm that though...and I haven't seen anything on LJ...

IS IT TRUE?! Can I start bouncing around the room yet?

EDIT: OMG! This thread is cracking me up. Seriously... we're that desperate?!!! TeeHee... I love it... (and NO, it's not true.... YET!)

The GOOD news is that it's like, 99.9% certain for renewal. It's doing pretty solid by CW's standards, and they've already figured out showrunning for next season - which they wouldn't worry about if cancellation was imminent. Also, Nikita is looking like a cancellation, and they'll want a strong show on Fridays rather than start with two new ones. :D

Nope, that's the article I was referring to. See the date - April 26th, 2011. It also mentions One Tree Hill returning, when this was its last season. :)

I found another site referencing that article too! Oddly, it came to the top when I did a search on google news and usually it only pulls recent news.

And yep, I am that desperate. But it will be soon. :)
