You guys! Thank you (again <3) for all your thinkies and hugs and positive vibes on the last episode (and the 2,800 word scolding from my dear friend redteekal *g*).

I'm mighty invested in this (damn!) show and so I can go to extremes in my reactions. I'm somewhat irrational and passionate when it comes to episode reactions. *iz sheepish*

I did feel better after reading all your ideas and thoughts and I loved that we could disagree on stuff and everything is ok. Some things won't change for me but I love that you all are as equally passionate (even if you have already quit the show) about stuff. (I still have some comments to reply to and I will).

I really wish we didn't have to wait 2 weeks for the next ep (boo!) but maybe a break will be good. Even then I'll have to wait an extra day because on the night because I will be on camp with my Year 7 students (joy...).

No need to feel sheepish! It's fun, you know, to be so invested and passionate about a show and come on here and vent and squee and rant and discuss. I love reading your reviews, which, somehow, turn me into a total blabbermouth.

Fans are not always going to agree about everything and that is good for discussion, especially when someone expresses why something didn't work, as you did, rather than being all "this show (character, plot point) sux for me and, therefore, it must suck for everyone else too and I hope it gets cancelled but I'm still going to come online every single week and rage about how incredibly bad it is and insult anyone and everyone who is still enjoying because clearly they are stupid."

But two whole weeks! What am I going to look forward to? I suppose it will give me chance to catch up on all the shows just sitting on my DVR. (Or watch more SPN via DVD)

And, regarding your previous post....I don't think Jared gets near enough credit for the different Sams he has played over the years. Never once did it feel like a retread of a previous portrayal, i.e., Souless! Sam did not remind me of Possessed! Sam who did not remind me of Lucifer! Sam who did not call to mind Demon Blood! Sam. Similarly, the Sam of season one is not the same Sam we see in season 8 and I like how he has shown Sam's growth; how he has been affected by all the things that have happened.

Don't get me wrong. I think they are both fantastic and the onscreen chemistry between the two is why the show is still going but, for whatever reason, Dean is seen as the more sympathetic character which affects fan following, I think.

But, yeah, Jared has definitely grown as an actor cause I went back, as you do with all TV boyfriends, and watched his stint as young MacGyver on youtube. Oh my! I think he was much better in that ER episode he was in.

Good grief. I'm babbling again!

The Jared thing puzzled me too. I mean no disrespect to other actors on the show, but Jared is really so good at playing Sam. I can look at a screen cap, and say which Sam it is, of course, that can be my obsession with the show talking, but still. The mannerism are just so vastly different. Jim Beaver talked about how hard it was to play dead. But, how many times has Jared played dead? I'm never going to get over the first time he died....

You're right. It's not quite two weeks. I'm still counting from Wednesday's episode.

That's pretty impressive, being able to look at a screen cap and tell. I am sure I could for a few but not all. Ya think the hair's a giveaway?

IKR!?! Is it crazy and a little morbid of me to say that that was the best death scene EVER! Off the top of my head I can't think of one that gutted me more (the actual scene itself and not the grief aftermath that usually kills me more than the actual death)

When I look back and think about the wee!Sam when got in the pilot to the Sam we have now it's remarkable. We've watched him grow both physically (*swoon*) and as an actor.

Yay! Young MacGyver! He's so cute. <3

(And looks like the dates are attached. Only a week and a half now. :D)
