ash48I made this gif to compare the differences in those promo posters.
Crowley's flaming carnation is curious. Not sure if that's purely Zeke, or Sam with the hint of Zeke. I think the former, but open to interpretation I suspect.

Date: 2013-10-18 08:05 am (UTC)I just had a quick look and found this: In Portugal, bright red carnations represent the 1974 coup d'etat started by the military to end the fascist regime ongoing since 1926.
Light red carnations represent admiration, while dark red denote deep love and affection.
And in France carnations symbolize misfortune and bad luck.
I actually like the Portuguese one for Crowley and Abaddon!

It's such a cool idea to have the promo poster change with what we learn and still tease us about what will happen.
And it seems like the angels aren't going to be the biggest threat after all? 9x02 and Abaddon and Dean's "gotta remember who the real monsters are" would sort of suggest that...

From what I've seen, maybe "tweening" might be the one-button version of a cross dissolve. I found it by accident, by just clicking stuff to see what it did. ;) Adobe's explanation does kinda sound like a cross-dissolve, though.

Date: 2013-10-19 11:36 am (UTC)I hadn't heard about the Ezekiel-is-Lucifer theory. Hmmmm...I can see that there would be quite a strong argument for that. I actually really like the idea, but I'm not sure the writers would be thinking along these lines. Sounds almost too complicated. A bit like the speculation last season that Amelia was someone/thing else last season.
My questions would be, could Lucifer play such a patient game (no gloating, being patient etc) and what about the broken wings? One could argue that he's somehow fought his way out of the cage (with Michael's help or hinderance maybe) and he's damaged. Another question would be...what's his endgame? Domination over earth, no doubt , but....hmmm.....I'll ponder that some more. I actually really like the theory. But...OMG! Dean would DIE if he knew he'd let Lucifer back into Sam. I think Sam might die too. It would certainly mean there's more to play with during the season than just the fall between Sam and Dean - and what Ezekiel is up to.
