*waves* hello lovely people. I hope you are all having a good start to the new year.

I came across this gorgeous drawing of Sam on twitter today and felt compelled to share it.



I adore this rugged, world weary Sam who looks like he's still fighting. My imagination gets swept away looking this (and ok, it doesn't hurt that his hair is awesome! *g*)

In other news, it's wonderful to see the spn_reversebang works being posted. I haven't had the chance to check many out but this one caught my eye recently: Twenty-Three Double X by necrora. It's atmospheric and beautifully dark. I really liked it. I feel like I have more time up my sleeves this week so will hopefully be able to check out more posts (yay!). Who would have thought the holidays could be so busy!

I've been working on my sammybigbang (yay! still excited that Sammy has his own bang!) vid. My lovely author gave it the thumbs up so that was cool. *g*

I enjoyed the episode but was disappointed that it wasn't the life changing experience for the king that it looked like it was going to be. I loved getting to "know" him better but then he hadn't really learned anything from it in the end.

(and I admit I found it hard keeping things straight in my head, that all those speeches from Dean and Bobby weren't them but a projection of how Sam 'thought' they'd be and in the end I'm still not sure if Death WAS there or not, or even if Dean was Dean or Ezikiel asking)

Yes yes. It always felt like Dean was there but other than maybe seeing Sam make the deal with Death he was never there (even when "he" said "they ain't no me if there ain't no you" I don't think).

And *nods* at everything in the next para. It was a good set up but very poorly handled (and somewhat character destroying).

Hee, worked out though as I'm sure yours will, you know where I am if you need anything.

Thanks hun! Actually - maybe you could take a peek? Mostly to check the technicals and see if it's working to an a outsider. Though, this late in the game I'm not able to change a lot, but I'd be keen to know how it comes across...
