Peeps reaction when I tell them Avatar did nothing for me = O_o
GI Joe (on DVD) = \o/ \o/ (surprisingly)
Inglorious Basterds (on DVD) = /o\ O_o (surprisingly)

Catching up with a good friend I haven't seen in a couple of years = \o/ \o/ \o/
Drinking too much when he came over = /o\ /o\ :)

Christmas = \o/ \o/
Boxing day = \o/ \o/
Getting "The Professionals" on DVD = \o/, from my hubby = \o/ \o/
Spending the last day watching it = \o/

Deciding to check the credit card balance after Christmas = /o\ /o\ *runs*

Knowing I still have 4.5 weeks holiday = \o/ \o/ \o/
Playing around in Photoshop and actually having fun with it (instead of feelings of utter frustration) = \o/ \o/

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Sherlock Holmes was good? We are going to see it next weekend I think, but I must admit I'm a big fan of the books and a classical interpretation such as Jeremy Brett so I do have my reservations about a 'Hollywood' version.

Glad you have had a fab Christmas:)

For me, Sherlock Holmes was awesome. Better than I expected. I could rave on and on about it but as you haven't seen it so I won't. :)

I will be really, really keen to know what you think of it especially as a fan of the books. It felt pretty faithful to me (it was certainly Hollywood, but the story or characters weren't neglected). But I might be biased because I was swooning over RDJ & JL's performances and Guy Ritchie's direction. :D
