The Pilot. When Sam goes with Dean to find their Dad not because Dean couldn't do it alone but because Dean didn't want to do it alone.

That moment always sticks out for me.

The "anagram" scene in The Usual Suspects. They're separated, but their brains are totally in synch, and they come up with "What if it's an anagram?" at exactly the same time.

It makes me giddy, I tell you.

(I'm sure I can come up with dozens, but that's the first one that springs to mind)

Any time they hug. The smack on the back of the head in the pilot, smack on the chest. The glued beer-bottle hand. Wrestling on the bed. Dean pulling Sam away from fires. Dean hugging Sam after he was choked in Home. The ouiji board scene. Speaking in unison in Mystery Spot. Sam showing up in Scarecrow. Tossing the ammo/necklace to each other in Hookman. The first side of the road conversation after John died-- what's dead should stay dead. Laughing together after lying to the Ghostfacers about Hollywood producers.

Season 3 - when Dean teaches Sam how to fix the Impala... guts and melts me simultaneously every time.

The moment in bloody mary, when Dean (after breaking the mirror) holds Sam's face and checks if he is ok.

To me, this is what is lost and makes our hearts ache as the brothers just can't seem to go back to that.

- Dean's teary monologue to Sam's dead body (it isn't warm and fuzzy, but it guts me)

- Sam getting Dean to agree to kill him in "Playthings" (ditto)

- Dean thinking Sam just got himself blown up and his frantic checking to make sure that wasn't the case in "Hunted"

- When Dean drives away from Sam at the end of the Pilot and Sam watches him go

- The phone call when they're separated in "Scarecrow" and their reunion at the end

- Dean opting to stay with Sam in "Croatoan"

- The ouija board game in "In My Time of Dying"

- Dean's death in "No Rest for the Wicked"

- Dean's final resurrection in "Mystery Spot"

- When Dean tells Sam he's never going to let anything bad happen to him in "Nightmare"

The end of Hunted when Sam says he wants to continue. Dean also tells Sam he might not be able to protect him, but he can try and Sam's expression and how much it means to him.

In Crotoan when Dean stays with Sam. Also earlier in that episode when Sam is attacked and reaches out to Dean when he's down.

The hotel room scene in "Provanece" where Dean tells Sam that Jess would want him to be happy.

The beginning of Hunted, the scene in the motel room where they talk about Ava. It's a weird scene to be a favorite I suppose, but just the looks between them, the hesitant trust and understanding, makes me melt.

Also the last scene of Houses of the Holy. Where Sam confesses how scared he is and expects Dean to shut him up, but Dean doesn't -- he listens. It's rare that Sam's allowed to confess something to Dean and just have it be heard.

Definitely the scene in Hunted after Dean thinks Sam has been blown up, when Sam unties him and Dean can't stop himself from reassuring himself Sam is ok.

In Home when Dean saves Sam from the electric chord and gives him that little reassuring hug.

The very end of Scarecrow when Sam says he isn't leaving.

Their reunion in Lazarus Rising, and also when Sam gives Dean the necklace back.

The end of A Very Supernatural Christmas.

When Dean tells Sam as long as he's around nothing bad is going to happen to him.

The reunion in Mystery Spot, with the hug.

DITW - when Sam's watching Dean as he talks about Mary with Lucas - just tugs at my heart.

Home - when Dean tells Sam that he carried him from the fire and when Dean rescues Sam.

Faith - the hospital scene and all of the scenes where Sam is "mothering" Dean.

The Benders - when Dean finds Sam.

Hellhouse - at the end when the boys are laughing together.

Something Wicked - all the wee!chester scenes, when Dean tells about almost getting Sam killed, when Dean tells Michael that he would do anything for his little bro. and Sam's reaction, and when Sam wishes he could have that kind of innocence again and Dean wishes he could too.

DT - when Sam makes the decision to trust Dean about John and steps behind him.

Season2:
IMTOD - Dean thanking Sam for not giving up on him as Sam's looking through John's journal, and Sam asking Dean to keep fighting because they're just starting to be brothers again.

Bloodlust - when Dean asks Sam to hit him and Sam tells Dean he looks like crap and he'll take a raincheck.

CSPWDT - when Dean tells Sam how he's been feeling about Johns dying.

TT -when the boys are trying to apologize to each other.

AHBL2 - when the boys are standing over YED after Dean kills him and the whole scene when Sam asks if Dean sold his soul to bring him back.

Also the way Dean is always trying to feed Sam and all the times the boys play rock, paper, scissors.

Oh, and Something Wicked, Dean telling Sam about the Strigha (?), and Nightmare as a whole, though the end especially, and . . . I'll really stop here for now. *gg*
