Serious fandom business (aka seeking the flist's advice..)

So, I've been blathering about this bromance vid my muse seems determined to kill me with. I'm still not sure this will actually happen, but I am pursuing it to see how far I can go before it all becomes too hard.

Step one is confirming the bromance pairings I have.

To qualify as "bromance" I am looking for pairings where 2 males care deeply for each other. Mateship, male bonding, BBF's, platonic love (I'd sell my soul for you Sammy) kind of friendship.

I'm interested to know if anyone thinks that either a) there are pairings I am missing and b) if some of these don't really qualify (as in friends, but not "I'd be a lesser person without you" type of friend). I am hoping to shrink the list, so if you think any of these don't belong I'd be really interested to know.

I am also looking for the perfect song. I can actually do that part myself but if you have any ideas you know I am all ears.

Also, because of this, I have discovered a new (well, quite old now) TV show and it has become my new addiction. It's The Sentinel and I am like... JIM AND BLAIR!! \o/ *smishes*ancastar for the incredibly detailed info on this series. At the moment I just can't get enough.

I know its a smaller than small fandom, so I understand if it stays off your list. Though if you're not familiar let me rec the awesomeness of talitha78's vid 3. She showcases the 3some, but its quite clear how Van/Deaq are ;)

Oh yay, I'll check that out. (I've just become hooked on The Sentinel because of a fanvid *g*).

Yes vids are addictive and *good* vidders like yourself happily feed your fans. I just started tracking you so I don't miss any more awesome vids.

For me TS is an older fandom, one that I got into through crossovers- will say if you're just getting into the fandom - you have massive amounts of excellent fic ahead ;)

Fastlane is awesome, but with only 1 season it sadly never really got off the ground. IMO its worth your time as its highly entertaining and slashy as hell!! I'm working on a fic inspired by talitha78's vid a xover with White Collar - I'm just a slow writer.

And to keep this on topic- maybe separate show/fandoms from bromance & teams ie though I'd say McKay/Sheppard are bromance, but one could argue that its really a team dynamic - this would include SG1 & NCIS that more the team dynamic vs Starkey & Hutch.... Or just go for broke and include everyone- you'll drive yourself nuts, but feed all your mad fans ;)

Popping my head back in to say I watched the vid and it was awesome! That's the gal who's currently in White Collar yeah? And it's a car show (bit like Fast and Furious maybe??).

I can definitely see how they would qualify as bromance. Lots of eye candy in that show it would seem.
