I think my new favourite comm is ontd_spnparty. So much JOY over there. It's a lurker's paradise. :D

And in RL news...

I've been alcohol free for 6 weeks now! 6 weeks! That's ridiculous. Only 2 to go... (not counting or anything..) AND only .5 kg before I reach my trimming goal of 5 kgs. I am ridiculously proud of myself. I know 5kgs don't seem like a lot but man... friggin' hard to shed.

Damn! You read my mind!! /o\ I am mostly definitely looking forward to a very nice bottle of wine. But, yes... not the whole thing. And I'm even going to wait until 3 days after the date I can start again (8th March). I have decided to just drink Friday and Saturday nights and special occasions. I really hope I can do that.

It's hard to constantly keep control on how much/often to drink (or how much sweets and candy to eat *blushes* and *hides*). So, I think there will be weeks when it works well, and others when it won't. But you put up a great start and if it gets too much again, you can give yourself another time out, a sort of reset.

And thanks, yes, I'm doing well, even though you might have noticed my "absence". My focus was very much "on the other side" again. Which unfortunately included for some old trauma to break open again. I also spend much time chatting with my young friend (prayer video). He is a lot on my mind and in my heart all the time. So while I still enjoy and love the show to bits I'm not so much around the fandom like I used to.
I'm always fascinated with what speed you consume so much information. All the fan fiction, friends posts, the many thoughts you have that you post about. Makes my head spin.

Maybe I'm also less around the "SPN circus" because I've found my 2 soulbrothers (for real) I've been looking for my whole life subconciously. And the show has actually played a big part in getting me ready to find them. (Hope that doesn't sound like a lunetic talking :P)

So, what can I say..... *Squishy Hugs* :D

I wonder about all the fandom stuff too sometimes. But it's my main hobby and I do get such a lot of enjoyment out of it. I used to be consumed by the theatre, sometimes acting in up to 4 shows a year. But I just can't do that at the moment (soooo time consuming) so the fandom stuff fills that gaps.

I figure one day it will all settle down - when the show is done maybe.

Actually I haven't been able to avoid what this week's episode is about and I've never been LESS tempted in my life - I admit, I'm one of those that really doesn't like the meta episodes, I like my fourth wall made of stainless steel thank you very much - fantasies on one side and real life on the other. I think it's because I get that creepy feeling of someone reading my diaries and them pointing and laughing behind my back. That's my problem I know, but I'll be keeping well clear of fandom for the next week or so, fingers firmly away from the keyboard - actually I might just unplug the damned thing before I open my big mouth and upset anything, because I really, really REALLY hate meta episodes - sorry.

Oh yes... I know. What this has shown me is that I can actually survive a night without a drink. I did worry there for a minute that I couldn't. (my sis is an alcoholic so I know it might have be a possibility. She hasn't had a drink in 7 years (makes my 6 weeks look ridiculous. It's certainly given me an appreciation of what she's has to go through every day - forever..)

Ah yes... it sounds like the next ep might very well create a stir. I have NO idea what they have in mind with it so I am very curious to see how it plays out (and it's why I want to peek..). I am very wary of such eps. I can't say I've liked any of the others that much. We'll see.

But it's only another day and a few hours and I want to be surprised. I know a smidge of casting spoilers, and of course the concept, but I don't want to know any more dialogue or sight gags or anything until I watch it (and watch it, and watch it, and vid it).

And yay you on the weight loss thing! I've switched from WW to Sparkpeople this month - in my case, WW did nothing for me, but SP is actually working - it's a challenge but you're doing amazingly!

Yes - I want to be surprised as well. I've really enjoyed not knowing anything coming up and yet.... arghhh... sometimes I just want to peek. I used to spoil myself all the time. I clicked on everything... but now I try and resist.

Hmmm.. never heard of Sparkpeople. We don't have them here (I don't believe). For me I just had to eat better and exercise daily (rather than not at all). It's just that damn getting older weight that's a problem. It kinda creeps on...I've been ignoring it for too long.
