Hi guys. I'm starting this request on LJ and see how it goes. If I need to I'll branch out to twitter/tumblr etc but I thought I'd start here first.

I would like to gather some photos/footage of fans enjoying the company of other fans - so maybe fans hanging out at a con together, fans hugging each other, laughing smiling etc (being generally supportive etc). I only want photos with permission - as in your own personal pics that you would be happy to share (in a public vid). I appreciate that not many fans would want their pics in a vid, but if you didn't mind then I'd love to be able to use them (with the disclaimer that if I get a lot I won't be able to use them all ;D). I'd also love some pics/footage of fans reacting with the cast if anyone has that (like photo ops etc).

I feel like I've been less fannish this past year than ever before. And yet, when I reflect on the year it looks like I made one more vid than I did the year before (8), I still did ep reviews (hee, only "just" at times) and I was pretty busy on twitter with a new twitter account I started (One Perfect SPN Shot). So, maybe I was still a little bit fannish. ;)

I got a little distracted yesterday when I was checking out my song suggestion thread. amypond45's daughter suggested the Rocky and Bullwinkle theme song. Then killabeez mentioned she couldn't believe it hadn't been done before (and added yes please!) and, well, that was that! My muse was off and I had a fun afternoon putting this together.

Total crack of course. *g*

So I contacted Hub Productions, the guys putting on AHBL con in Australia next month, and told them I was a fan vidder and if they were interesting I'd be chuffed if they might consider using some of my vids in their show (I linked 2 of my vids as a sample of what I do). I didn't hear anything for ages, thinking it wasn't something they'd be interested in, but I just heard from them and they said those vids were suitable (YAY!) and were they any others I'd them to consider of mine to link it to them.

Now I'm not sure which ones I should link?! I'm not really sure of the kind of vids they use in these shows (character vids? general show vids? J2?). If anyone has a suggestion I'm all ears.

Here's my vid list in case anyone see something that might be suitable. (I already linked them We Will Rock You and Dance Freaks).

I will be pretty damn excited if they did end up using a vid of mine. :)

It's a strange time of year. Happy for some, sad for some. I consider myself lucky as it's mostly a happy time of year for me. And I am truly grateful for that. It's a little stressful (family stuff can sometimes be fraught) but it's small beans compared to what many have to endure. I hope you ALL had a happy time.

Something I've done for a few years is the Vidding Meme. It's a nice way to reflect on the years' fanworks. I don't want to break tradition so here's what I got up to in 2014:
